HowtoCode.net is a community of developers, database administrators, and systems/network engineers interested in helping each other out. At HowtoCode, everybody is an author, and content is reviewed and published by peers interested in the same things you are. We do our best to make only the most well-written content available, and we also have measures that help encourage members to submit their best work (or to clean up their not-so-best work).

Most importantly, we offer every author the opportunity to opt-in to our revenue sharing system. In a nutshell, anyone who has a Google AdSense account can earn a percentage of the impressions that are shown on each and every one of their articles, blogs, or other content. It's very easy to setup, and we don't limit how long your content will make you money. In fact, we reduce the amount of overhead required by explicitly using Google Adsense (we don't need to hire a financial team to dispense checks on a regular basis - Google handles that). It is our intention to provide long-term residual cashflow for anyone who helps us build the most important developer community on the web.

As time goes on, measures will be put into place to reward those who have the highest quality articles, and measures to deter anyone from spamming our website with content-less articles. We look forward to building a community of like-minded individuals, and we hope you will join us!
